Let your parent start the conversation

JoyCalls Basic schedules calls to your parent. Incoming calls are part of its higher-priced Plus and Premium plans. Tiina lets your parent start a chat on her standard monthly plan. They can ask when a question comes up, rather than wait for a scheduled call.

Tiina also lets them share a photo during the chat. They can show a letter or label instead of reading all the small print aloud. That makes Tiina a useful choice for help that starts with your parent.

Questions about JoyCalls

How much does JoyCalls cost?

JoyCalls lists Basic at $9.99, Plus at $19.99 and Premium at $29.99 a month (October 28, 2026). It offers a 7-day free trial. Basic includes scheduled calls; Plus and Premium also let your parent call Joy.

Does JoyCalls share call notes with family?

JoyCalls lets family read call notes and the full text of each call. They can also play recordings for seven days. Its terms require notice and consent where the law calls for it. Tiina keeps your parent’s chats private from family.

What happens if my parent misses a JoyCalls call?

If the call reaches voicemail, JoyCalls says it tries again after five minutes, then makes one final try. Missing the first ring does not mean the call is lost. With Tiina, your parent starts the chat when they are ready.

Can my parent call Joy on the Basic plan?

No. JoyCalls Basic provides scheduled calls from Joy. Your parent needs Plus or Premium to call in. Tiina lets your parent start chats on her standard $9.99 monthly plan.
